The following case studies showcase three farms that are actively working to improve water quality through their own land management practices. While not formal assessments of best practice, these films share practical examples and insights that may help other farmers explore what could work on their own farms.

BLUEprint is a collaborative project designed to unite local stakeholders in restoring the health of our rivers, estuaries, and streams by 2027.
This ambitious 12-month initiative will:
· a robust scientific water sampling strategy;
· Generate momentum for change through community engagement in river-sensitive lifestyles and practices;
· Facilitate expert panel discussions; and
· Integrate all elements into three comprehensive catchment plans.
Our focus areas are the River Avon, River Gara & Slapton Ley, and the Salcombe–Kingsbridge Estuary. Our scientific approach includes advanced eDNA analysis to monitor both water quality and biodiversity, complemented by a suite of additional water quality parameters.
The catchment plans will form the basis of the application for a follow-on delivery project.
