🌿 River Gara Catchment

 

Slapton Ley (Bottom) is the largest natural body of fresh water in the South West and designated as a SSSI. It provides a rare habitat for wide number of species. The largest tributary is the Gara, with its source only five miles inland. The Gara provides a great opportunity to monitor the positive effects of better water management due to its smaller size.​​​
